Learning activities to enhance research literacy in a CAM college curriculum. (2009)
This publication outlines active learning activities that were woven into 3 current courses at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Tables 1-3 provide curriculum modifications to accomplish these goals (Table 1-3, pg. 48-50).

The Sugar Study: A Monograph for In-Class Research with Medical Students (2013)
This publication presents an overview of conducting a clinical trial during a regular educational course. The process lends an experiential component to EIP instruction. Educational objectives and logistical concerns are presented in Table 1 and 2 respectively (Pg. 164).

Foundations of Evidence Informed Practice
This document (provided courtesy of Northwestern Health Sciences University) describes an EIP course designed for both AOM and DC students. Objectives pertinent to both programs are outlined. Reading lists, grading rubric, and schedule are also included.

Independent Research Study

The third course, Applied EBP, builds upon previous coursework in EBP, adding focus on clinical application and use of EBP, in addition to effective communication in the clinic setting. Two versions of this syllabus are available.

Public Health

Journal Club
Journal Club participation is required at the National University of Health Sciences to enhance EIP skills. 

Additional documents (provided courtesy of NUHS) outline the course syllabi for student participation in Journal Clubs. Geared toward clinical interns, this coursework helps transition use of EBP into patient care, instilling EBP practices in the professional health care setting. Two versions of the syllabus are provided.
